Tuesday morning: We had a very bad night at the police post. On leaving the compound an escort vehicle with four armed men waited on us. We were not surprised.
We got hungry and refused to continue. We stopped at a road stall. Before we could go in they cleared the place of local people. We took our time.
Dit was pay back time :-)
They had to wait until we had finished. It was pay back time. :-)
Before getting to a next police check point we left the road and drove / rode down to the Nile. There we met this wonderful family. The allowed us to camp on their farm for the night. It turned out to be a wonderful and most enjoyable evening. We laughed at the thought how the police was searching for us. We were sure that no one would find us there. Half ten the night we were proven wrong.
