Forex en braaivleis
Goeie middag!
Ek kry vanaand so tussen 6 en 7 my fiets terug.
Die laaste paar aande was bedrywig.
Hello!
It feels like winter on the bike. After having wonderful summer weather the last week or two the temperature suddenly plunged to only 9 degrees this morning.
I left Siegen at 7 this morning to take the KLR to Altenstadt for its service. I had to stop half way. I was frozen on the bike. I have to put on more and warmer clothes beneath the riding gear. Otherwise the colder weather in Russia would make riding unpleasant.
I should get back the KLR tonight between 6 and 7.
Last night Werner and Roswitha invited us for a braai. Like the previous days I was spoilt and treated like a long lost son. The food was delicious, and Werner's home-made pear mampoer like a ride in a car without brakes - dangerous!
The last couple of days I was invited and received with such warm friendship by so many people. Thank you very much! Anja, for your hospitality and friendship and transporting me from A to Z, Micha, Werner and Roswitha for last night, THANK YOU!
I believe the forex issue is settled NOW. Thank you for the dozens of emails I've received.
Then the best: You know how I feel about our bank in Naboom. We have a new manager there since two weeks. Yesterday I receiced an email him, Johan Jansen. He introduced himself and attached a photograph of his bike: An identical KLR like mine!
How can one go wrong with a bank like that!
