Ek het netnou wakker geword met die geluid van reen op die sinkdak. Dit gaan 'n nat begin wees van 'n koue, heerlike lang rydag vandag.
Netnou kry ek koffie in die bed! Hoekom gaan die mooi gewoonte uit die ou dae nou verlore in Suid-Afrika? Waar is daar nog hotelletjies of gastehuise waar mens jou vroegoggend koffie in die bed kry?

I woke up with the sound of pouring rain on the roof. It is going to be a cold and wet start into a long and lovely riding day.
At half past six I am going to get coffee served at my bed. I love this! Why are we losing this old and beautiful habit in South Africa? Where are there still hotels or guest houses serving their guests a wake-up coffee or tea at bed?
